Kathleen Galluzzo, director of the Franklin County Deanery choir, is a parishioner at Holy Trinity.
“We send out lots of advertisement and emails several months ahead of time so that members of our deanery choir receive them,” Galluzzo told iobserve.
“I’ve been directing this choir for eight years, and we have a marvelous group of multi parish representatives that come to just sing and give their time,” she said “The music is one of the most important things to enhancing our prayer.”
Blessed Sacrament parishioner Bob O’Connor also attended the celebration.
“I really enjoyed it,” he said. “This is a big event for the deanery and the parish. Today is special; the Blessed Mother’s Assumption with some of the most beautiful hymns and prayers of the church,” said O’Connor.
